Hartees Wizards Basketball Academy is a great step towards realising your dream to play Basketball at the elite level.
Hartees Wizards was developed to offer a unique psycho-social basketball programme to all learners. Basketball has been proven to have many physical and psychological benefits, such as muscular endurance, improved balance and co-ordination, movement skills, as well as self-confidence, improved stress management, better communication skills and an improved capacity for teamwork. Regardless of your current skill level and status we can help you develop your capabilities to the limits.

We believe in that there is not a single solution suitable for all our learners, each student is unique, and all their unique needs will be taken into consideration during the time that they will be at our academy.

The Coaches
Mr. Alistair Gwaze is a FIBA International accredited Level 1 Coach, FIBA International Basic and BUZ National level 2 accredited coach. Having professionally played basketball for DZ raiders, HCity stormers and JBC, Alistair also coached several high schools and won several Basketball tournaments. Alistair is also involved with the development of Basketball at Midrand Heat Basketball Club. Recently Mr Gwaze took charge of the Midrand Heat’s qualification to the National Basketball League by winning the JBL D1 Championship.
Coach G is supported by a team of professional team comprising of various teams ranging from medics, statisticians’ junior coaches among other professionals.

Our Saturday Basketball Camp is from 8am to 11am.This is to cater for those who are unable to train with us during the week.
Requirements
- Everyone from the age of 5 to 18 years
- Each student have to bring their own basketball and basketball-shoes
- The academy will provide basketball short and shirt after paying the registration fee
